The nation’s largest family-owned RV dealer, General RV Center, is proud to announce its newest Supercenter in Ashland, Virginia is now open for business.
General RV Ashland is a full-service dealership for RV owners and those looking for their new RV. The facility features 500 RVs for sale, 40 service bays, and a large retail store with a wide selection of RV parts and camping accessories.
Serving Ashland, Richmond and beyond
Located at 12500 Harley Club Drive, the Supercenter was built on property adjacent to General RV’s former dealership. The company had served the Richmond area from this location, off Interstate 95, since mid-2017. Due to growing demand, General RV decided to expand so they could better serve customers.
“We are very proud to unveil our new Ashland Supercenter. It is the largest RV dealership in the mid-Atlantic area and the first of its kind on the east coast,” said Loren Baidas, President of General RV Center. “This premier facility will allow us to provide an industry-leading purchase, delivery, and ownership experience.”
Although General RV has only operated in Virginia for two years, it has already become a destination for RV shoppers. The dealership is currently ranked as the #1 motorhome dealer for new motorhomes registered in Virginia according to Statistical Surveys. “With the new space, we can have a greater selection of motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels,” said General Manager Ed McNamara. “Customers appreciate our large selection of brands and floorplans but it’s our people that make the difference. Much of our business comes from customers who had a great experience and referred their friends.”
