Coachmen Galleria Class B combines quality, luxury, and value

Last Updated on August 13, 2021 by Christina

Coachmen RV entered the Class B market in 2016 with the Galleria. From the beginning, it was clear its designers were striving for something better than a basic camper van. This Class B motorhome combines unmatched quality, luxury, and value in a 24-foot, 3-inch frame.

In this blog, we’ll go over the Coachmen Galleria 24FL floorplan. The 24FL includes a rear sofa, galley kitchen, wet bath and more. Read on to see what makes Coachmen’s flagship B-van a true standout!

An illustration of the Coachmen Galleria 24FL floorplan is shown. A sofa is located at the rear of the coach. Two sets of jump seats are located on either side of the removable table. Mid cab on the driver's side is a wetbath flanked by a wardrobe and refrigerator. The galley kitchen is located on the passenger side. The two chairs at the front of the RV swivel around to be used with a removable pedestal table.

Coachmen Galleria Class B impresses from every angle

Starting from the ground up, this Class B was designed to impress. The Galleria is built on a 3500 Mercedes Sprinter extended platform with a 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine. It delivers 188HP and 325 ft-lb of torque while still providing excellent fuel economy (averaging 18-20 MPG highway). This means you can drive confidently no matter where you go.

Your travels won’t be limited to campgrounds either. A 100W solar panel, 330 AMP hour AGM battery and 2,000 W Pure Sine Wave Inverter are all standard. This system powers the microwave and all outlets (not A/C). The Galleria is also equipped with a water-saving Showermiser system. It conserves fresh and gray water tank capacities with a simple flip switch. And this RV has standard upgraded insulation, too. As a result, the Galleria is a great camper van for boondocking.

For added safety, the Galleria includes blind spot monitoring, lane assist and collision avoidance sensors. Front window and side airbags are also included. A backup camera and heated side view mirrors increase visibility when in motion.

Luxury comes standard with this camper van

It’s time to discuss the Galleria’s high end amenities. Specifically, the handcrafted Amish cabinetry that gives this RV its unmatched style. The cabinets are made of solid hardwood with residential drawer guides. They also feature dove tail drawers. Locking drawer catches keep drawers from sliding when you’re moving. A glossy finish adds to the premium feel. Put simply, you won’t find better made cabinets in any RV. Moreover, those cabinets and drawers provide ample storage.

The Galleria’s high end components don’t end there. This RV includes a Truma Combi Eco Plus furnace and water system for comfortable camping. Additionally, the quiet Onan Micro-Lite 2.5kw LP generator provides power when the RV isn’t hooked up. When you’ve reached your campsite, extend the awning and enjoy the views. On windy days, the 13-foot electric awning retracts automatically.

The Galleria’s lay-flat sofa is another industry first. Located at the rear of the coach, it converts to a large memory foam bed. There are also individual reading lights and USB ports. More storage space can be found under the bed.

Practical features, incredible value

In addition to the luxuries mentioned above, you’ll find many practical features inside the Galleria. Motion sensor lighting, a sink cover with built-in plate drying rack, and a dedicated trashcan drawer to name a few. Besides the WiFi ranger, multiple USB ports help keep you connected. At the rear of the RV, Coachmen included cup holders and charging stations. There’s even a dedicated C-PAP machine outlet and storage cubby.

Likewise, the designers paid close attention to detail when creating the Galleria’s bathroom. The wet bath is constructed of durable fiberglass. Two doors make it more spacious. Cleaning up is easy thanks to a soap dispenser and pullout shower head. There’s also a swing-out mirror for added convenience.

In summary, this Class B motorhome checks all the boxes. It’s safe and easy to drive. It fits in most garages. It has unparalleled fuel economy. It’s full of premium amenities. It’s got the power and equipment you need to go on any adventure. Not only will this B-van get you there, it will do so in style and comfort.
