General RV Center Adding 15th Supercenter in 2024

Construction to begin 30 miles north of Salt Lake City this summer

WIXOM, Mich., April 12, 2023 – General RV Center, the nation’s largest family-owned RV dealer, will open a new store in South Weber, Utah, in 2024. This new location (approximately 30 miles north of Salt Lake City) will be General RV Center's 15th supercenter and its 2nd one in the state of Utah. General RV Center plans to break ground this summer to start construction on a 65,000-square-foot facility. The new facility will have 30 service bays, including a body shop, and is expected to open in the fall of 2024.

General RV Center currently owns and operates 14 supercenters across seven states (Michigan, Florida, Utah, Illinois, Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania). The company opened its first Utah store, located in Draper, in 2009. Last year, the Draper superstore was recognized as the leading RV dealer in Salt Lake City, according to Statistical Survey Inc.
