In 1996 Forest River founder Peter Liegl had a vision that he was certain he could carry out. He wanted to create an RV company that was solely predicated on what people wanted. He desired to help all campers better experience the outdoors. Forest River began partially through the acquisition of Cobra Industries. Shortly after the acquisition the company began manufacturing pop-up tent campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and park models. Forest River has now grown into an RV leader with Manufacturing facilities throughout the Midwest, and on the West coast. The company now produces Class A, Class C, Fifth Wheels, and Travel Trailers.
Forrest River is known as a leading innovator in the RV industry. Their brands tend to adapt quicker than other manufacturers through innovative design and a commitment that goes beyond the manufacturing process.
