General RV is now host to an innovative exhibit never seen before in the RV industry or even the automotive industry. The “American Coach Experience” is a hands-on display allowing customers to get an up-close look at the company’s exclusive Liberty Bridge foundation with Freightliner custom chassis. American Coach says this preeminent chassis provides an incredibly strong structure with an exceptionally smooth ride. Thanks to its unique design, it also boasts some of the largest pass-through storage in the luxury Class A RV industry.
This premier display also includes the custom-built Design Center – a dedicated area where customers can customize an American Coach RV to their exact specifications. Then, customers will sample actual materials from various American Coach decor packages for a fully immersive experience.
The exhibit is now open to the public at General RV’s location in Tampa, Fla. – the largest American Coach RV dealer in the United States.

What is the Liberty Bridge with Freightliner Custom Chassis for luxury Class A RVs?
American Coach partnered with Freightliner to create the exclusive Liberty Bridge with Freightliner custom chassis. The fully-integrated design provides a strong foundation that carries more and handles better. American Coach then combines the Liberty Bridge with additional innovations, such as the I-Beam construction, steel beams molded in one piece to create stronger structures than the typical three-piece, raised-rail designs that can warp at the seams. American Coach also uses Huck bolts in construction, considered the most reliable aerospace-grade fasteners available. Huck bolts are known for their strength and vibration resistance. Also, their fatigue lives are up to 20% longer than traditional fasteners.
The “American Coach Experience” puts the Liberty Bridge on full display, allowing customers to examine its inner workings and witness the innovative construction first-hand. This arrangement also allows customers to fully appreciate the industry-leading amount of pass-through storage this custom chassis provides.

What is the luxury Class A RV Design Center?
A first in the RV industry, The American Coach Experience encompasses the full line of luxury Class A Diesel motorhomes, including the flagship American Eagle, American Dream and American Tradition. Once customers are ready to design their own American Coach product, they will step inside the custom-built Design Center, imagined by American Coach’s interior designer Mindy Cox. The state-of-the-art Design Center enables customers to physically visualize their dream RV. Customers will be able to digitally customize every aspect of an American Coach RV. Details as small as the cabinet knobs are customizable to a customer’s preference in real time.
The Design Center will also be featured at the 2023 Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, Fla., in January. Therefore, customers who visit the American Coach display at General RV’s section of the SuperShow will be able to sample the “American Coach Experience” and the Design Center’s capabilities.
Details on the 2023 Florida RV SuperShow
The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) is hosting the 38th annual 2023 Florida RV SuperShow Tuesday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 22 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Fla. Notably, the RV SuperShow will have representation from every major RV manufacturer as well as accessory booths and exhibitors.
Admission to the SuperShow is $15 for adults and includes a second day admission for the cost of one day. Children under 16 years old are free. The SuperShow hours are 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday – Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday. Wednesday-Friday are Senior Citizens Days with seniors receiving $2 off the cost of admission (not valid with other discounts).
