Winnebago may be most famous for it’s impressive Class A motorhomes but this manufacturer’s Class B RV options are just as feature-packed. Here, we’ll go over some of the key details of General RV’s Winnebago B-van offerings: Travato, Era, Revel and Boldt.

Winnebago Travato Class B Motorhome

Built on the powerful yet fuel-efficient Ram ProMaster chassis, the Travato has been a favorite of camper van enthusiasts since its launch in 2014. This Class B motorhome combines all the comforts of home in a compact package. The Travato’s premium features include: an energy-saving Truma Combi Eco Plus heating system, a Coleman Mach 10 NDQ air conditioner, 230-watt solar panels, Corian countertops, and Deluxe FROLI Sleep System.

As any B-van fan knows, space is at a premium when you’re camping in a coach that’s only 21-feet long. The Travato uses SmartSpace design philosophy to maximize efficiency with hidden storage, full-extension drawer slides, fold-down counter extensions, and more.

The 59G and 59GL floorplans include a 28″ x 51″ wet bath located at the rear of the coach and large corner bed that flips up to make room for bikes or other gear. Upfront, the Flex Bed System sleeps another person comfortably. The Travato 59K and 59KL floorplans feature a rear wet bath and bench seats that convert to two twin beds or a single king size bed.

Other standard equipment included: a 24” HDTV plus a coach stereo system with AM/FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and CD/DVD player. The exterior sound system, powered patio awning with LED lighting, porch light, and side screen door help you enjoy the outdoors more.

One of the first motorhomes in its class built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Winnebago Era launched a whole new age of upscale touring. With its diesel engine, luxury upgrades, and enviable fuel economy, this RV has introduced a whole new set of travelers to the world of Winnebago B-vans.

There are four Era floorplans available for solo travelers, couples, and even families. The 70A features the Flex Bed system that lets you choose two beds or a single queen bed in the rear, while the lounge area converts to a second sleeping space perfect for kids. The 70B and 70X both feature a rear sofa bed and generously sized (24″ x 43″) wet bath. Last, but certainly not least, is the Era 70M. This floorplan is truly remarkable because it is the only Winnebago Class B motorhome to feature a slideout. The 70M features a sofa and Murphy+ bed perfect for two. The additional space in this model allows for a full sized bathroom with separate shower.

No matter which floorplan you choose, the well-designed lounge and living area make the most of the Era’s interior. A movable pedestal table provides a convenient surface for dining, working, playing games, or relaxing. The Ultraleather cab seats have armrests, adjustable lumbar support, adjustable headrests, and full slide and recline functions. They also swivel for added lounge seating when in camp.

The Era’s attractive galley is equipped with Corian countertop, range with glass top, and microwave. The water purification system is standard, as well as the stainless steel sink and decorative backsplash.

For off-the-grid roaming, the Revel includes standard solar charging panels and a 2,000-watt AC/DC inverter.
