A new year means new RVs are rolling in at a General RV dealership near you! And these 2022 RV models are giving us plenty to talk about with new floorplans, more features, and upgraded interiors.
From luxury fifth wheels to 4×4 motorhomes, here are 15 new RVs that have us daydreaming about camping season.
Best new Class A Motorhome for 2022
Coachmen Encore 375RB
If you’re looking for a motorhome with all the comforts of home and plenty of space to stretch out, our pick is the Encore 375RB from Coachmen RV. This Class A motorhome measures in at just over 38 feet and sleeps up to 8. The living area includes an 86-inch sofa and electric fireplace that everyone will want to gather around. The Encore also has a separate room you can customize to meet your needs. Behind a barn sliding door, the multi-functional “BOW” room easily converts from bunkroom to office to wardrobe!

Thor Magnitude XG32
Need a Class C motorhome with a powerful diesel engine, four-wheel drive, and plenty of towing capacity? Meet the 2022 Magnitude 4×4 Super Class C RV from Thor Motor Coach. The Magnitude XG32 is built on a Ford F-550 chassis with a 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo diesel engine. Thor also included several safety features and a backup camera so you can travel any road with confidence.
The Magnitude XG32 floorplan is ready for you to relax with theatre seating, a dream dinette, and queen size bed. If you’re bringing the family, you’ll appreciate the full-size pantry and over-cab bunk (500 lb. weight capacity). There’s also a massive, powered sky view shade that you can control from your phone or tablet. Open it when you’re ready to enjoy the views and close for privacy. You’ll also find a Winegard ConnecT Wi-Fi extender + 4G and a Bluetooth coach radio system in the bedroom for some extra entertainment.
Nexus Rebel 35R
The next new RV on our list is another 4×4 Super Class C – the Nexus Rebel. This diesel motorhome was made for touring the country in ultimate style. It sits on an International chassis and is powered by 350HP Duramax engine with 700 ft. lbs. of torque for power you can feel! You’ll also be able to tow more with a hitch rated at 15,000 lbs.
Nexus is known for its high construction standards and this RV is no exception with a seamless wrap around fiberglass roof and seamless gelcoat fiberglass sidewalls. Other upgraded features of the Nexus Rebel include slide-out toppers throughout, heated and enclosed holding tanks, a water filtration system, and a 6.0 Onan diesel generator that will help you enjoy your travels. Aliner Expedition
Another lightweight, affordable option is the Aliner Expedition. This A-frame pop-up camper is great for solo travelers, adventurous couples, or young families. It weighs less than 2,000 lbs. and measures 18 feet long so it’s easy to tow. Each Aliner is constructed with Azdel wall and ceiling panels and premium marine grade flooring for added durability.
We loved the versatility of the floorplan with a rear sofa bed. It comfortably sleeps up to four. Meal prep is simple thanks to the two burner stove, sink, and 3 cu. ft. refrigerator. Plus, there is even a microwave for those nights when you don’t feel like cooking. The front booth dinette is great for enjoying a meal, playing games, or catching up on emails. It converts into a 40 x 80-inch bed. There’s also hidden storage under the seats. Best of all, the Expedition has several windows so you can take in all the views wherever you roam.

Coachmen Clipper Ultra-Lite 17FQS
Ultra lightweight and affordable, the Coachmen Clipper 17FQS is a great option for young families just beginning their RV adventures. This travel trailer weighs in at less than 3,500 lbs.
