Family-owned since 1962

The General RV story began in 1962, when founder Abe Baidas took his family camping out west. Inspired by the experience, he opened a small trailer rental business in Detroit that would grow into the nation’s premier full-service RV dealer. Though many things have changed throughout our history, we have always known our purpose: helping families make RV memories. We are now in our third generation of family ownership with Loren Baidas serving as President of General RV.
