General RV is growing, and we have immediate openings for RV Sales Representatives, Finance and Insurance Managers, RV Technicians, Service Cleaners and Porters at several of our Michigan dealerships. Interviews will be held onsite during our hiring event on March 1 and 2. Register today and make your plan to attend.

RV Sales

As a member of the Sales team, you’ll be a key player in creating opportunities for families to make lifelong family memories. Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from start to finish. Help clients with product selection, negotiate terms, and ultimately finalize sales.
  • Provide detailed and accurate product knowledge to customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Continually learn about product updates, inventory and how it will benefit the customer.
  • Responsible for daily follow up with current, existing, and potential leads through our CRM system.

Job Description

RV Tech

Our Technicians are part of the heartbeat of our company keeping families camping and creating lifelong memories. Our growing service team plays a vital role in the experience we provide to our customers and maintaining our successful service center.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for servicing new and used RV’s. General RV Technicians do not service the chassis or engines, only interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing.
  • RV specific certifications will be provided by General RV, do NOT need to be ASE certified.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how the issue can be repaired.
  • Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality.
  • Inspect RV’s thoroughly.

Qualifications

  • Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desired.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reliable and strong work ethic.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.

  • Ability complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Valid driver’s license.

F&I Manager

This growth is evident in our Finance (F&I) Department with over 350% revenue growth over the past 5 years. With 60 of the top Finance professionals in the country, General RV has been proven to be the employer of choice for high-performing Finance Managers.

Responsibilities

  • You will oversee the customer loan origination and approval process from start to finish.
  • Present financial products such as service contracts, paint and fabric protection, GAP, credit insurance and other products designed to protect our customers and their investment.
  • You will partner with sales management to move deals effectively through the purchase process.
  • Maintain accurate monthly performance reporting.
  • Finalize financial transactions quickly while following legal and ethical practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong relations with both customers and lending partners.
  • Identify and provide solution based finance options for customers.
  • Prepare all federal and state required paperwork for financial transactions and work closely with corporate finance team.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience within the RV, Automotive industry or Powersports industry is preferred
  • Proven ability to overcome sales objections
  • Dealertrack and AppOne experience is preferred
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
