Our commitment to quality starts at our state-of-the-art Inspection Facility in Elkhart, Indiana. At this 77-acre complex, we check the overall function and quality of each RV that comes through for a better customer experience at our dealerships and beyond.

RVs undergo a rigorous 6-stage, 400-point inspection by our trained technicians before heading to our Supercenters and then to you. So you can shop with confidence knowing that you’re covered.

Our Inspection Facility spans 150,000 sq. ft. with two production lines for inspections and 20 service bays equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Our proprietary software allows us to track each RV and correct any issues before it’s sold to you.

Job Description

Detailer

This position requires an eye for detail and may either be a daily washing attendant or an interior detail, clean and prep attendant. The role is a high-energy role that keeps the associate on the move. Constant communication with your colleagues is a must. The role will maintain their own materials and supplies working with our materials team. Other duties may be assigned as part of the process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct with all required cleaning tasks such as:
    • Wand spraying undercarriage, sidewalls and roof
    • Hand brushing sidewalls and roof
    • Vacuuming interiors
    • Removing any manufacturing prep materials
    • Dusting
  • Refilling and ordering any supplies as needed
  • Coordinating duties with the other staff members
  • Performing maintenance activities related the process

  • Minimum of High School diploma required

Job Description

PDI Associate

The PDI Associate's essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to; train and be proficient in multiple operating positions. The roles will lead on the in-station adjustments, minor repairs, and warranty complaint recording through the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) production process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct with inline RV adjustment, repairs, and recording of issues
  • Support the organization with 5S and lean initiatives
  • Document Complaints for off-line warranty needs
  • Assist team leaders as needed with any/all of the QC process, including but not limited to, tablet recording and adherence to the inclusive list of inspections and test
  • Support the review of takt time analysis and station optimization
  • Provide associate functional training as needed. Must be the Subject Matter Expert in the testing and inspection of the process
  • Support organization as functional backup to test and inspection roles

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School diploma required
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in repair and/or RV assembly
  • Positive disposition with every interaction
  • RVTI Certifications required and/or RV Production experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient training skills (both patient and persistent)
  • Computer proficiency
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Job Description

Warranty Technician

The Warranty Technician position is hands-on, providing mechanical and electrical diagnostics and service repairs for travel trailer, fifth-wheels, and motorhomes. These positions will interact with staff members and drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Complete thorough and timely RV diagnostics and repairs
  • Manage working relationship with staff with the ability to describe the function / failure and repair needs per situation
  • Appropriate levels of empowerment are expected to “Do The Right Thing” for every situation
  • Embrace the opportunity lead and educate as appropriate
  • Document cause and correction for all repairs
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice to complete the task at hand
  • Cleanliness of assigned work area and tools
  • Obtain (or possess) own tools
  • Support the creation of SRTs for repetitive jobs
  • Solve complex problems with minimal assistance
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School diploma required
  • Technical Degree and/or RVTI Master Certifications is required
  • At least 3-5 years of service or manufacturing experience
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in manufacturing and/or service required
  • Possess appropriate driver’s licensing
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer support
  • Proven ability to plan and handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Job Description

Check-In Attendant

This position requires an experienced and professional security guard with experience in commercial and/or residential settings. The individual must be highly organized and adept with handling multiple situations as once. Appropriately confident, bringing forth their part to contribute to a safe and secure environment. Must be committed to serving as a visible sign of authority and safety, and dedicated to details, verification of information, as well as preventing intrusion, damage, and breaches of security. This role needs to be focused on safety and knowledgeable of laws and enforcement policies.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers with a kind and helpful attitude
  • Check identification and appropriate information of all persons entering and exiting the facility
  • Ensures that visitors are given adequate direction and communicates with recipients to prepare for their arrival
  • Documents all concerns and incidents and communicates them to your supervisor that may occur while on duty
  • Train new hires with company policies and protocols as we move forward
  • Adept at communicating effectively with others, sometimes in stressful situations
  • Good judgement: rapidly determining the best course of action with all situations
  • Observation skills: Alert and aware of their surroundings and able to quickly recognize anything out of the ordinary
  • Lead and direct with onboarding training as well as safety training activities
  • Assist HR as needed for any/all resource needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School diploma required
  • Associate’s degree in Criminal Law or equivalent desired but not required
  • At least 3 years directly related experience of providing security
  • Computer proficiency, able to meticulously verify information regularly
