OVERVIEW OF GENERAL RV’S CUSTOMER LOYALTY PROGRAM
The following provides an overview of the General RV Customer Loyalty Program terms and conditions. The terms and conditions apply to the General RV Customer Loyalty Program only. Certain individuals are available for membership based on age, purchase of an RV from a General RV location, or purchase of a membership, and by providing certain contact information to General RV. The Program also has requirements for maintaining membership after you become a member.
GENERAL RV’S CUSTOMER LOYALTY PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Age: Program membership is open to individual U.S. residents (50 states, DC, and Puerto Rico) at least 16 years of age. If you are between 16 and the age of majority (18 or 19 years old, depending on where you live), you may only join the Program with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- E-Mail: You must provide and maintain a valid e-mail address and promptly update your account with any changes. You acknowledge that General RV will communicate with you about program changes, rewards, and promotional materials via email and General RV’s website.
- Participating Locations: Your membership is valid at all existing General RV dealerships and any General RV dealership that opens in the future
Redemption Opportunities: Discounted services are available at all General RV dealerships. Other rewards may become available at General RV’s sole discretion, in a manner and time of General RV’s choosing.
Qualifying Purchases: When you purchase an RV from General RV, you are awarded membership in the Program. Membership to the Program provides you with benefits like members only pricing on RV service at General RV and other discretionary benefits and rewards available in a manner and time of General RV’s choosing. For an RV purchase to be a qualifying purchase, it must be made directly from General RV.
Membership is also available, providing membership benefits on services only, to individuals who own RVs not purchased from General RV. Those memberships can be purchased via payment of a membership fee. The fee associated with membership in this fashion may vary depending on membership purchase date. Fee amounts may also vary on the size, type, or model of the RV in question. See a General RV Service Writer or Service Manager for further details and prices.
You become a General RV Program member by enrolling after purchase of an RV or through purchase of a membership. As a Program member, you will receive access to special offers for maintenance and repair services at General RV and other Program benefits and offers provided at General RV’s discretion.
Non-Qualifying Purchases: Purchases from anyone other than General RV, leased products, rentals, instant rebates, pre-orders at the time of deposit (the membership will be awarded at the time of final payment or at the time you pick up the product), purchases made for resale, store credit issued by General RV, service related charges, other excluded charges, and certain other items are excluded in particular promotions.
You may not transfer or assign your Program membership or any Program benefits. Any entitlement to benefits under this Program, advertised offers, or coupons issued have no cash value and may not be transferred. Additional restrictions may apply to General RV employees.
You may cancel your membership in the Program at any time by contacting a Service Manger at any General RV location. If your membership is cancelled (either by you or by General RV), you forfeit any unclaimed rewards, benefits, or offers. We may not issue you any rewards or offers if we terminate your account because of conduct that we determine, in our discretion, violates these Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of Program membership, or is harmful to our interests or another customer. We also reserve the right to deny future membership if we deem your conduct to violate these Terms. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with any of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.
For information about your membership, contact a General RV Service Writer or Service Manager, or e-mail General RV at firstname.lastname@example.org with your member identification information. You may also contact us by mail at: General RV Center, Inc., 2500 Assembly Park, Wixom, Michigan 48393.

Limitation of Liability
In addition to other limitations and exclusions found in General RV’s Conditions of Use, (see www.generalrv.com), IN NO EVENT WILL GENERAL RV OR OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PROGRAM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU SPENT ON QUALIFYING PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD BEFORE ANY CLAIM AGAINST GENERAL RV. THESE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY WILL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND WILL SURVIVE CANCELLATION OR TERMINATION OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE ADDITIONAL OR OTHER RIGHTS AS THEY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
Legal Information/Dispute Resolution
In consideration of your participating in the Program, except for intellectual property claims, you agree that if you have a dispute with General RV about the Program, you will try to resolve the dispute through negotiation with General RV. If agreement cannot be reached through negotiation, you agree to seek resolution on an individual basis only through a Court having competent jurisdiction in the State of Michigan. You agree that all disputes regarding the Program shall be governed by the substantive laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflicts of law rules. This means that if you decide to file a claim against General RV regarding anything having to do with the Program, Michigan law will control that claim and the exclusive jurisdiction for deciding any disputes shall be in Oakland County, Michigan, with any claim being filed in Oakland County, Michigan. If a Court finds any portion of the Program or these terms to be invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, the remaining portion of the Program and these terms shall remain in full force and effect. Any invalidated portion shall not affect the enforceability of any remaining portion of the Program or these terms. In addition, YOUR CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP IN THE PROGRAM CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND ANY CHANGES TO THESE TERMS. If you do not agree to any of the terms, or any changes, you must cancel your membership. General RV sells all RVs “AS IS” from General RV. Whenever an individual purchases an RV from General RV, they sign a 2-sided Purchase Agreement. That Purchase Agreement is the only document that contains the terms and conditions of any agreement with General RV to purchase an RV from General RV, even though many purchasers also execute a financing agreement, and they become a member of this program. The Purchase Agreement disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and contains an “AS IS” clause. This means that you do not have the right to revoke or rescind your Purchase Agreement with General RV or to return any RV you purchase from General RV and receive your money back. In addition, the 2-sided Purchase Agreement between General RV and General RV’s customers indicates that any disputes that a customer may have with General RV must be resolved by filing a claim in Oakland County, Michigan, under the substantive laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law rules, since General RV is a Michigan Corporation. Nothing in this Program, or the terms of this Program, impacts that, or any other terms of the Purchase Agreement with General RV for any purchase of an RV.
